We are a group of current graduate students in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program who are deeply committed to increasing diversity in our community. We run this program as volunteers to provide assistance to applicants to HST’s Medical Engineering and Medical Physics (MEMP) PhD program.
We recognize not all qualified students receive equal amount of support from their networks when applying to graduate school. To help you submit materials that truly highlight your strengths, we will pair you with a current PhD student mentor who can provide assistance with application materials, give perspective on how you may fit into HST, and share their experiences as a MEMP student. Working with one of our student mentors is similar to asking for help from another graduate student you may know; the difference is that we have first-hand experience with MEMP and its application process.
